The Result of Sin
" .... but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die."
But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear.
".... The soul who sins will die."
"But for the cowardly and unbelieving .... their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
