You Must Believe in Jesus
As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful search and inquiry, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you ....
Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, ....
.... if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved."
And without faith it is impossible to please Him ....
