A Light to the World


Isaiah 42:6-7, 49:6

"I am the LORD, I have called you in righteousness, I will also hold you by the hand and watch over you, and I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations, To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon, and those who dwell in darkness from the prison."

" .... Israel; I will also make you a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."

Matthew 23:15

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel about on sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. "


Matthew 15:14

Matthew 5:10-14

Rejoice, and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. .... You are the light of the world. "
