The Power of God
For the wages of sin is death, ....
And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
as it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God;
for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God.
In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, ....
And as Paul and Barnabas were going out, the people kept begging that these things might be spoken to them the next Sabbath. Now when the meeting of the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and of the God-fearing proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, were urging them to continue in the grace of God. And the next Sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of God. But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, and were blaspheming. And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him; for "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
"All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out."
