Creation or Evolution?

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:20)

Science tells us that the universe burst into existence at one point in time. However what science cannot tell us, is where the incredible amounts of matter and energy that would be needed to form the universe came from. Those who hold to the Theory of Evolution would like us to believe that it all began with one big bang. All the debris from that explosion then came together to form an extremely intricate universe, all on its own. The impossible formula for this theory is (nobody times nothing equals everything). Even if it were possible that the universe came together on its own, how long could it possibly stay that way? If no one created it and designed a way for it to maintain itself, the same principles of chance that caused it to come together would also cause it to fall apart. On the other hand the Bible tell us that God created it all. Critics of creation say that it's not logical to believe in a Creator God, who has always existed. Which is more reasonable though, to believe there is someone who has always existed and is responsible for the creation of what is clearly seen or to believe that everything evolved by chance, from nothing? Evolution has been so exclusively taught in our public schools that many people don't realize it is not based on fact but on theory. The Geological Column that is used to support the evolutionary theory has never been observed anywhere. In it, fossils are dated by the supposed age of rocks and rocks are dated by the supposed age of fossils. Most people also don't realize there is a lot of scientific evidence that supports creation. Because of this there are many scientists who believe in the Bible concept of creation.

God may be invisible but the things that have been made by Him are not. Did you know that the world rotates at 1,000 miles an hour, as it revolves around the sun at 60,000 miles an hour? It stays balanced as it does so too, or it would shake everything apart. It also has just the right amount of gravity to keep from throwing us all off. If we were any closer to the sun or further away we would either burn or freeze to death. The moon is exactly where it needs to be, to control the tides that keep the waters of the ocean from completely flooding the land. What causes a dead dried up seed to produce a giant tree, or a seed and an egg to become a baby in a mother's womb? Could all these things be the result of chance? Or does it make more sense to believe that someone designed and watches over the principles that govern the world we live in? A prominent evolutionist once said that since he refused to believe in God, he had no choice but to believe in evolution. Evolution for him was simply a way to justify, in his own mind, his rejection of God. The miracle of creation gives all mankind convincing proof of God's eternal power and divine nature. Because of this, unbelieving people are without excuse.
